Arvonia Solar Project

Arvonia Solar is a proposed 80 MWac solar project, which will be located on a timber tract in New Canton, Buckingham County, Virginia. Arvonia will be sited on approximately 600 acres of the 1072 acres (or 55% of the overall site), thus further reducing its impact and providing for environmental and wildlife corridors.

Through generating clean electricity, Arvonia Solar aims to meet the Commonwealth of Virginia’s clean energy goals. It works simultaneously towards nurturing soils, reducing carbon emissions, improving air quality, establishing new pollinator habitats, and growing the local economy.
